• Living Relationship: Resurrection established a direct, day-to-day connection with God, moving beyond history books or visions to an active fellowship.
• Living Worship: Unlike repetitive or stagnant religious rituals, Christian worship is described as dynamic and spirit-led, involving music, singing, and joy.
• Living Faith: Faith is presented as a “live seed” that grows. It provides certainty and the ability to declare, “I know my Redeemer lives,” even in hardship.
• Living Message: The Word of God is described as a transformative power that changes lives, illustrated by an anecdote of a cannibal transformed by the Gospel.
• Living Hope: Based on 1 Peter 1:3, the resurrection provides a “living hope” that death is not the end. The preacher emphasizes that because Christ rose, those who “sleep in Him” will also be raised.

Congregation response

Brother Edward challenges the congregation to move from a state of spiritual “withering” or “death” into the fullness of life that Jesus promised.

• Acknowledge the Living God: Participants are urged to recognize that they do not worship a “dead God” with eyes that cannot see, but an active, moving Savior.
• Reject Fear of Death: Using the example of a recently deceased church member, the congregation is encouraged to rely on the grace of God and maintain a “good confession” regarding their eternal destination.
• Active Participation: The congregation is called to stand, praise God for these “living truths,” and participate in the service through song and offerings.
• Focus on Jesus: The final directive is to center one’s eyes and focus entirely on the living Jesus to receive the “life in full” He offers.
