An evening of Praise and Worship just seeking the Lords face.

Worship:

The Worship centered on two primary passages:

• Romans 1:8: The preacher emphasized the phrase “your faith is being reported all over the world.” He noted that the goal of the church is for their faith to serve as a global encouragement through digital reach, not just a local one.
• Romans 10:9: The text was used to highlight that confession with the mouth and belief in the heart regarding the resurrection of Jesus leads to “freedom.” The preacher expanded this “freedom” to include the literal release of captives and prisoners.
• Matthew 6:33: A participant clarified a previous “misquote,” emphasizing that we must seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness. Righteousness was defined as Christ-like attributes: compassion, love, faith, and obedience.
• Luke 10:38-42 (Mary and Martha): The preacher urged the congregation to choose the “better portion” like Mary—sitting at Jesus’ feet—rather than being distracted by the many anxieties and chores that burdened Martha.

Brother Edward issued several direct challenges to the congregation:

• Focus on God’s Attributes: Instead of focusing on personal illnesses, anxieties, or the presence/absence of others, members were told to meditate on God’s qualities (Love, Grace, Power, Authority, Faithfulness, and Kindness).
• Intercession for the Persecuted: The congregation was called to pray specifically for 13 church leaders recently arrested in Iran. They celebrated the release of 8 women and prayed for the 5 men still in prison.
• Active Participation: Members were encouraged not to come “empty-handed” to future services but to bring “morsels” of spiritual food—testimonies, verses, or short words of encouragement—to share for the edification of the church.
• Step Out in Faith: A challenge was given to “dare to believe” that signs and wonders follow the Word. Members were urged to pray for the sick they encounter, regardless of how weak they feel personally.

• Հռոմեացիս 10:9. Բերանով դավանելը և սրտով հավատալը բերում է ազատություն, ինչը կիրառվեց նաև բանտարկյալների ազատ արձակման համար։
• Մատթեոս 6:33. «Խնդրեցեք Աստծո արքայությունը և նրա արդարությունը»։ Արդարությունը սահմանվեց որպես Քրիստոսի նմանվելը։
• Ղուկաս 10:38-42. Մարիամի պես ընտրել «բարի բաժինը»՝ նստելով Հիսուսի ոտքերի մոտ։

Ժողովրդի արձագանքը

• Հավատքով քայլ անել և աղոթել հիվանդների համար։

Ամփոփում

Ծառայությունը շեշտեց լիակատար հանձնումը Հիսուս Քրիստոսին։ Երկլեզու պաշտամունքի միջոցով եկեղեցին աղոթեց Իրանի հալածվողների համար, լսեց բժշկության վկայություններ և քաջալերվեց փնտրել Աստծո արդարությունը սեփական տկարությունների փոխարեն։
