• Matthew 8:5-13: The story of the Roman Centurion. Brother Ivan emphasizes that the Centurion’s love for his servant—someone he didn’t “need” practically—stimulated Jesus and activated great faith.
• John 17:21-22: The “formula” for the world to believe. Unity among believers is the prerequisite for global faith.
• Matthew 25:34-40: Serving the “least of these.” Kindness shown to the hungry, thirsty, or imprisoned is regarded by Jesus as service directly to Him.
• Romans 12:20: Overcoming evil with good. Providing for an enemy’s needs (food/water) is the primary weapon against spiritual adversaries.
• Proverbs 16:7, 16:24, 19:11: The practical benefits of godly conduct: reconciliation with enemies, healing for the bones through sweet speech, and the glory found in overlooking an offense.

Brother Ivan challenges the congregation to move beyond theoretical faith into the practical application of love:

• Speak Plainly: Avoid “professor-like” vagueness; the Gospel must be accessible to be effective.
• Pray for Laborers: Shift focus from the “harvest” (numbers) to “laborers” (workers). The church must be prepared with people capable of managing growth before asking for it.
• Practice Forgiveness: Take the example of Joseph (Genesis 50). Forgiveness is not just avoiding an enemy but actively showing them kindness.
• Self-Examination: If offended by others in the church, the preacher instructs the individual to examine their own heart rather than judging the other person.
• Spiritual Hygiene: Carry the “fragrance of Jesus” rather than the “smell of garlic” (complaining/bitterness) to naturally attract others to the faith.
