Today we have a special message from the Armenian Bishop on Church Unity followed by a short sermon on health and peace from Brother Edward.

The sermon centers on the nature of divine peace, drawing primarily from the following scriptures:

• John 14:27: Jesus promises His own peace, distinct from what the world offers, given during His greatest struggle before Gethsemane.
• Isaiah 26:3: The promise that God keeps the steadfast mind in “perfect peace.”
• Philippians 4:6-7: The peace of God, which transcends all understanding, guarding hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
• Isaiah 53:5: The theological foundation that the “punishment that brought us peace” was upon Christ at the cross.

The Bishop challenges the congregation to stop carrying anxieties that Christ has already paid for.

• Surrender: Explicitly hand over burdens and “bitter cups” to God, trusting in His will as Jesus did in Gethsemane.
• Internalization: Recognize that peace is an inner state established by the Holy Spirit, not an external condition dependent on health or wealth.
• Action: Pray specifically for families in turmoil (notably mentioning “Jana’s family”) and invite the Holy Spirit to instill divine peace within the heart.
