• The Authority of the Name and Blood: A confession has no inherent power in the speaker’s merit, knowledge, or experience. Its efficacy relies entirely on the authority of the Name of Jesus and the value of His Blood.
• God’s Glory as Motivation: Declarations should not serve personal ambition or selfish interests. Like David facing Goliath, the goal must be that “all people would know He is the only God.”
• Continuity and Perseverance: Faith is not just a “quick result” or “snapping fingers.” It requires standing firm even when results are delayed. Brother Edward compares this to a medical prescription that must be taken consistently to work.
• The Test of Faith: Using the example of the Canaanite woman (Matthew 15), Brother Edward illustrates that faith is often tested through silence or perceived insults. True faith persists and “passes the test” by refusing to be disillusioned.

Brother Edward challenges the congregation to move beyond “ritualistic” or “mood-based” prayers and adopt a lifestyle of victorious declaration.

• Intercession for Iran: Continue to declare that the “walls of Islam” will be broken and the name of Christ raised in Iran, just as communism was broken.
