• The Blessed Path (Verses 7–8): Trusting entirely in the Lord results in becoming like a tree planted by water. This person does not fear heat or drought; their leaves remain green, and they never fail to bear fruit because their roots reach the stream.

Brother Edward also references Hebrews 12:2 (looking to the author and perfecter of faith) and Psalm 46:10 (“Be still and know that I am God”).

Brother Edward challenges the congregation to move beyond being “unbelieving believers”—those who profess faith but live in constant anxiety and self-reliance.
