God gives us unconditional love, His attitude to us is different to any other kind of love we can know. God sympathises with our struggles and knows what difficulties we are facing and he is always there walking with us.

Brother Edward emphasises Agape love: a one-sided, sacrificial, and unconditional love that God holds for His children regardless of their merit or past actions.

The congregation is challenged to overhaul their “mental image” of God. Brother Edward identifies that a correct mindset—viewing God as a loving Father rather than a fierce judge—is the prerequisite for a victorious spiritual life.

Action Points:

• Reject Deception: Actively dismiss thoughts that God is indifferent, angry, or forgetful of your prayers.
• Shift Prayer Perspective: Approach God with the confidence of a child who is “loved unconditionally,” rather than one who is hiding from a sword.
• Draw Near: Like the parable of the son in Manchester, recognize that God is not “searching to punish,” but is “missing and calling” for His children to return home.

Քարոզի կենտրոնում Աստծո սիրո բնույթն է՝ հակադրելով Աստծո մասին մանկական վախենալու պատկերացումը աստվածաշնչյան իրականության հետ: Հիմնական համարներն են.

• Երեմիա 31:3. «Հավիտենական սիրով սիրեցի քեզ, դրա համար քեզ քաշեցի գթությունով»:

Համայնքին մարտահրավեր է նետվում վերանայել Աստծո մասին իրենց «մտապատկերը»: Քարոզիչը նշում է, որ ճիշտ մտածելակերպը՝ Աստծուն որպես սիրող Հայր տեսնելը, այլ ոչ թե դաժան դատավոր, հաղթական հոգևոր կյանքի նախապայմանն է:

• Մերժել խաբեությունը. Ակտիվորեն հեռացնել այն մտքերը, թե Աստված անտարբեր է, բարկացած կամ մոռացել է ձեր աղոթքները:
• Փոխել աղոթքի հայացքը. Մոտենալ Աստծուն որպես «անվերապահորեն սիրված» զավակ, այլ ոչ թե մեկը, ով թաքնվում է սրից:
• Մոտենալ Նրան. Ինչպես Լոնդոնի տղայի առակում, ընդունել, որ Աստված ոչ թե «փնտրում է պատժելու համար», այլ «կարոտում և կանչում է» Իր զավակներին տուն վերադառնալու:
