• The Confession: Peter identifies Jesus as “the Christ, the Son of the living God.” This revelation is the foundation upon which the Church is built.
• The Rock (Petra): The preacher distinguishes between Petros (a small stone, referring to Peter) and Petra (the massive rock/boulder, referring to Christ or the confession of His divinity). The Church is built on Christ, the living Rock, not on any fallible human.

• Seek Daily Revelation: Do not rely on past knowledge or “Bible studies” alone. Ask the Holy Spirit for fresh, intimate revelations of Christ every week.
• Exercise Spiritual Authority: Recognize that as part of the Church, you are called to “power” and “victory” over the gates of hell. Stop viewing yourself as weak or vulnerable.
• Evangelistic Zeal: Emulate the dedication of others (referencing Jehovah’s Witnesses) by being ready to defend the Lordship of Christ with scripture.
