As Pentecost approaches Br Edward looks at the most important need of the Chrisitan, to be filled by the Holy Spirit.

• Forgiveness: Follow the example of the woman who forgave her attacker; use the Spirit’s power to forgive the “unlovable” to open the door for their salvation.
• Communal Prayer: Gather in small groups of two or three to pray for one another, claiming the promise that what is bound or loosed on earth in agreement is mirrored in heaven.
• Evangelism: Use the “fire, sword, and hammer” of the Spirit-filled word to reach others, trusting that even if they do not repent immediately, the word will remain with them.
